This last couple of months I have been traveling quite a lot while working, and since I don’t feel comfortable enough with the Intuos M for client stuff full-time, I was carrying my Yiynova MSP19U around.
Of course after the second time on the road, boxing, unboxing and carrying the whole lot around was becoming kind off a pain in the ass. So after some research for more portable options I came across the Roccat Tusko bag
I purchased the bag for 20-24’’ monitors, they have a smaller size for 15-19’’ but since I am planning to upgrade my tablet in the future to a bigger size, I didn’t want to get caught up.
The unit fits perfectly in the bag, which has 4 clip securing points to avoid the unit to slide around. In the front has a hard plastic plate for protection against impacts. Really though stuff, made with solid waterproof woven.
There are a lot of pockets around to store cables and other stuff, and an extra keyboard holder in the front, which I really won’t use since I travel around with a laptop.
The bag has a gap in the back to give some room to the VESA mount, so when not carrying the monitor around, you can leave it standing in a safe place.
The tablet’s VGA + USB connector have to be carefully placed so they don’t get pressed or damaged, but of course that’s not the bag’s faults, but Yiynova’s because the cables are non detachable
The overall size is quite big, but supereasy to carry around both with the handle and the additional shoulder strap. Compared with carrying the Yiynova’s original box around, this feels like heaven.
